  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a way to find the shutter speed in R3D data?

I find myself changing shutter with light levels a lot, in addition to adjusting the optics. I liked the image so much of a specific shot and I want to be able to use the same shutter speed for more tests but I forgot if it was 1/60 or 1/200 or anywhere in between.

Is there a program that will give me detailed Shutter Speed (1/48 or 1/200 etc..)?

Thanks

I just checked the RED meteadata using miniME (Metadata Explorer) http://assistedediting.com/miniME/ that I helped develop and I could not see a shutter speed. Anyhow, the demo will let you export the RED metadata dump to an excel file without buying the application. (Buying it lets you map invisible metadata back to visible fields in FCP.)

In redcine under shot, the far right side has detailed information, including shutter speed.
