  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a way to find out whats in the box that red is shipping you?

Other than asking Bomb Rep, is there a way to find out whats in the box? I have Reference number, invoice number, web purchase order number, but none seem to match any numbers on the RED website. Thanks

The "requisition number" in your email invoice will match the "purchase order" number in the FedEx tracking.

Helpful if you have multiple packages and orders! Not sure if you can know exactly what's in the package if there are items from the same order shipping separately.

Hey Chris,

Your rep didn't email you the quote, then a follow up email with the tracking? That 2nd email will list the items from your quote & should match what is in the shipment.

Unfortunately no quote email, haha. Guess I'll have to wait.

Unfortunately I am not Japanese, so patience is not a trait I acquired. Its 8 pounds, so maybe its just batteries and boring crap. Not an Epic or Scarlet. Makes me a sad boy on Christmas. I'm probably getting coal.

Unfortunately no information on my account page at RED's site either. Oh well. We'll soon see - tomorrow! If its the new RED Majoris prototype camera that they accidentally sent to me, I'll post an unboxing and let you all know.

Have you tried checking your order status at https://www.red.com/customer/orders/history to see if that gives any clues.

But 8 pounds will not include a camera, sorry.

So, can't make promises (I didn't get an e-mail either telling me what's coming). But the package containing my camera and screen and everything else was listed as 20 lbs according to FedEx.. 8 lbs seems too low even just for the brain... Hope I'm wrong and you're getting a nice surprise!!
