  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a solution out there that will allow two v mounts to run in series?

I have an LED light that requires near 30 volts and was wondering if there's a mount where I can use two v mount batteries to get close to 30 volts when run in series? Any leads out there?

I would just make it myself, that's a super easy build.

Actually, I have a light that takes 28V so I think I will. Just need to screw a couple of generic V-Mount plates and a power out port to something rigid (like some aluminum tubing), solder three wires, and put some heat shrink tubing around the connections. Should cost around $35.

Thanks for the idea!

PAGLink batts (v-mount & AB) are industry standard, reliable sturdy and Fly - safe
I'm using PAGLink for over 2y and based on my experience on many scenarios - hard to beat this solution.
Anytime and almost at every situation I'm able to attach 2nd and 3rd batt and run my camera&acc with no interruption whatever is handheld or tripod.
Very often I'm using camera handheld or on gimbal (old good Ronin) but the camera is powered from the battery locked on my belt - brilliant solution!
You don't need many batt plates to build belt power bank ;)

Adam asked for a solution to run two batteries in series so he would have double the voltage.

I think most people are already aware of the numerous solutions available for running two batteries in parallel to allow for hot-swapping etc.
