So I was looking at http://provideocoalition.com/ this morning and saw this picture. All I could think was..."is there actually a RED under there?" I could see the RED LCD up top and the ET HD-SDI breakout box, but that's all I could see under there! The even funnier part is the file is labeled "RodneychartersAlexa.jpg"!

I'll bet it is an Alexa, as hard as it is to tell at this level of detail. The Alexa also has sockets coming out the rear right, and that looks very much like an ARRI V-lock plate under there.

Its a RED. Look at the back of the camera and you will see the LCD at the back of the red, quite distinct even at low rez.

And you can't use a RED LCD with any camera other than RED.

Definitely a RED, but in full dress with all the stuff that is used frequently on features and episodics - From back to front, a Switchtronix or similar V lock batter plate - to have two hot swappable batteries. Then a Camwave Wevi Wireless HD Transmitter (Haven't seen this particular build config before. Lots of cables... an ET Breakout box, then there is a Preston MDR unit which only seems to have a motor wired for zoom. Next to that is an Ambiet 2020CL Lockit Box for timecode and genlock. Looks like a Panasonic BTLH80 onboard monitor with a big ol' Noga Arm. Of course the 24 -290 Optimo and an Arri MB-14 6X6 Mattebox.

Anyone used that Cartoni head? Looks nice.

Don't think that's an ET breakout box - too many connectors - maybe an ASL AirSeaLand breakout?

Looks like a death ray.

That monitor is a Panasonic BT-LH900A, not a a BT-LH80. And the image is a little too low rez for me to be sure, but I think the breakout box is the one SIM Video makes.

That's actually pretty similar to a setup I was working with recently, but to the dumb side add a RED DRIVE and Cinetape, and a Hotswap/downconverter box by Phil Cine and subtract the WEVI from the back. In the pictures I have you can hardly tell it's a RED as well.

It had the AC's laughing about how the RED was supposed to be small and light, until you put a 12:1 and all the accessories on it.
