  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there a CART for hauling equipment IN THE FIELD ??

We got us an electric dolly. Its an electric quad with a metal top deck.
It reaches about 35 km an hour, is used for shooting but is also used for hauling material around.

It drives through mud and high grass without any problems.

Bad picture... but you get the idea. Works like a charm. Ow, drives about 5 houres before its empty.

where did you buy this!? looks amazing.

A wee step up from a rubbermaid, hah! That's insane.

The only one so far is the Innovative Cart, but the one that will resolve the issue of all terrain is the Alpha model about 4k, what makes this a really unique cart is the Shock system, but really expansive cart.

Isaac, that picture is of a custom axle setup that is not readily available and was a custom make. Otherwise, I'm sure it would be close to the same cost of the cart for the suspension system alone, lol.

I ordered my Echo 48 about 10 days ago, with a 5-6 week wait... so excited.

Gotcha, Mack.

I was almost tempted to go to the Scout 42, but the 37 is equal to a Jr cart, the 42 is sorta inbetween, so an odd size. I may step up, but I'm not entirely sure the size increase is worth it.

The echo is cool, but the lack of a lip on the top shelf would be a surefire way for mags and batteries to surely fall off for me.

Isaac, Awesome!

Mine is more a mobile-workstation, assembly-edit, live-colour, copy/backup, sound-sync, than a camera-cart. Either way, Inovativ covers us both equally with their TOP-GRADE carts!

Please, Isaac (when yours arrives and is outfitted), and the rest of you for that matter, POST PHOTO'S OF YOUR CARTS! -- So I can pin them :)

Ha ha, I wish they did made it... That was my absolute favorite!!

But need to say that even without the Shock Absorbers the Innovative carts are built in such a detailed way, and way lighter then competing carts that is a no brainer, yes they do cost more, but this is one of those things were you get what you paid for!!

My favorite been the Ranger... 10" wheels, Brakes, adjustable hight, built for power loads... Just love it... :)

I agree - the Ranger has to be my favorite from their carts as well. Pat is doing some great stuff with Inovativ and I'm excited to see what they've got coming in the future...

Yeah, and Pat is also a very cool guy, knowledgeable at his craft and ready to listen to the individual's need, not trying to oversell you, but insuring that you get what you need, and that goes a long way too when buying gear.

As for me, the Ranger is my new fav... Since they never when ahed with the crazy Alpha... :)

Mine should ship in the next 3-4 weeks. I went all out with the add ons, but it'll hold my second Mac Pro, Eizo CG277, and soon to be purchased FSI 24". But absolutely plan on me taking some photos.

Mine will be mostly a DIT setup that can also haul a small camera package when needed. Basically it has to swing between roles. But count on photos. If I had a truck or van I'd have gone for the Ranger 36. The more I looked into it it made more sense to go with the Scout 37 (it's really a 36" cart), as it's the same size as a Jr cart. Not big enough to hold two cameras like a 48" Sr cart. So I have to play to the strengths of the carts and not try to do something weirdly in between, if that makes sense.
