  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is the current REDCINE-X Release build safe to use with OSX Mavericks?

Want to make sure upgrading my OS won't introduce any problems I wasn't wise to. Has anybody heard any clear warnings that REDCINE isn't ready for OSX 10.9?

Thanks,

I haven't run into any problems with RedCine on my Maverick's test machine.

We've tested internally and haven't had any issues. However if you see anything let us know.

Thanks,
David

Hey,

I am having a issue with Red Cine X Pro 22 on a brand new Mac Book Pro running the latest version of Maverick. I set up to export a 422 HQ output on the machine and I am getting the following: error processing image for frame 0. When I set it up to spit out something in the Avid flavor no issues and exports fine. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong? It seems to have something to do with Quicktime drivers? Any thoughts RED soldiers?

Cheers,
E

So far the only solution I have found is to downgrade to 20.2 on my machine.
