is RED ALERT restricted to RED ONE owners only?

isn't there a way to download and install RED ALERT! in order to work with clipfinder in some project shot on RED ONE? I think that's without being the owner of a RED ONE..

Clipfinder doesn't require RA.

But you can download it @ http://www.red.com/support

I believe that the firmware is the only software that requires a password.

Clipfinder does require installing RA, since RA installer installs Redline (command line library) that Clipfinder needs.

No, free download with no "ownership required" restriction. Just tried it myself and downloaded after I accepted the terms and conditions.

Try clearing your cache, too.
