  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is it possible to UN-FORMAT the red-drive?

I suggest find the Professional File Recover technician,
they are most experiencing on the data recover, don't try too recover by yourself, otherwise you got trouble.

Wish good luck

I had a serious problem with a disk that was being altered with a partition program, I was able to get the important files off using Win floppy and copy to floppy disks, but when I mounted the disk under Windows to copy larger files off the disk was scrambled it seems because Windows wrote to the FAT even though I was just copying files off the disk.

Making a backup copy of the whole disks for both disks might be a good idea with bit by bit hard disk copy software, but not under windows. Best to have someone who knows what they are doing do everything if you want to get all the files off without errors since they are compressed files and would be hard or "impossible" to repair if any parts of the file are lost.

BTW: FAT32 with EIDE disks do not seem to preform much if any worse than SATA and NTFS as far as I can see with my programs, maybe in some lab tests but on the computers I have been working with the EIDE disks seem to have fewer fits and jerks to the data stream, I am going to looking into solid state disks to see if they work better, the peak data flow benchmark and the non-stop write/read real work do not jibe all the time.
