Is it possible to rotate the LCD LEMO port 180°? I'm trying to mount my LCD on the left side of the camera and I have a 12" LCD cable. Unfortunately, the slot in the port and the alignment pin on the connector are 180° off. If I try to twist the cable to line them up, the cable is too short. If the port could be rotated, the slot and the pin on the cable would align without twisting the cable and the cable would be the perfect length (and I could save $240.)

Thanks,
Curtis

I have the very same problem! I purchased a nice top handle, a plate to mount it on, and then I noticed that it wouldn't work. I also have no interest in spending hundreds of dollars on a slightly longer cable. I wouldn't mess with the port, but I am very curious to hear if anyone else has made it work.

Do you mean you bought an 18" right to straight cable? Or. . . ? It may come to that, but it seems a painfully expensive solution for a problem that could be solved by a half turn. I was hoping for some obvious solution that I hadn't thought of.
