I'm considering getting some of these to use with my Epic: Link->Globalmediapro RED batteries

Has anyone been using these, and, if so, any comments? Problems?

Many thanks

Jean

I have one for my Red One, I even think I have the "old" non -R version because I only see DC on the monitor instead of the percentage available.
Besides that it works without problems on the Red One.
For the Epic I cannot say.

I just did a test today on an Epic-M with the Globalmediapro Li160S-R battery. It works perfectly fine and the voltage info appears in the monitor...just like a RED Brick does. I can't say yet how long it will last since I shot over 2 hours with it and 2 out of 4 LEDs on the battery level indicator are still lighting up! I can imagine easily getting over 3 hours of operation (if not more!) out of it.

This might sound like a dumb question - but can those be charged on a RED battery charger or would you need a different one to charge the different brand battery?
