  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is anyone doing a ReadyRig GS group buy?

I think I saw a demo where there was a camera platform between the two rods. I think it was a dslr model RR, but you could turn it into a shoulder-ish mount or from the hip like you said, without the gimbal.

I can imagine prepping my CLUTCH for something like that.

Would need some extra parts though.

Anyone want to give this a try :)

Eagle has landed. Good news, the softcase with the rig inside is light and small (overhead? Probably). This is great for travel work. I could literally fit four inside my old Exo case. I'd say the rig itself is about 1/3 the weight of the Exo. I plan to take it for a spin this weekend. Any NY area folks who want to help, holler at saintmarkspictures@gmail.com. God pray this thing works. I'm done with trial buying. Hoverboard should be here anyday. The two of them should play nice.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it, any chance we could see a pic of it packed for travel against something for scale. What hover board did you end up buying?

Breaking it open tomorrow. Went with the 10" wheels. Maybe a sacrifice in manuverability but it's 1/3 faster and will eat sidewalk cracks for lunch.

Well, Ned. .. what's the story on this thing? (Not that I'm overly anxious to hear about it or anything.)

:-)

Thanks.

Stephen
