Irish short shot with a Nikon 85mm

[Piers McGrail]

Hey everyone,

Here's a quick little short we shot with on the Red with a Nikon 85mm prime:

Tiny budget, so you'll notice me pulling my own focus, and even ramping exposure at one point. But nothing that takes away hugely from the scene, I hope.

Really like it. Well done. Great performances, and nice shots. Any festival plans?

[scott william]

Just viewed your website. Some really nice stuff, keep up the good work.

[Piers McGrail]

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, we'll be putting it into festivals over here and probably some overseas ones too.

Very nice. Great short. I hope this does well for you guys.

[Eric S.]

Well done. Where did you shoot this?

[Piers McGrail]

It was shot in a cafe called 'Simon's Place' in central Dublin.

Shot in a couple of hours. The owner was kind enough to open it up to us on a Sunday.
