Iris remote for Komodo ?

Hi,
Komodo was supposed to be my B-cam but I still can’t believe how much I shoot with it…
Depending configuration, the lack of button / shortcut can be sometimes frustrating.
By using the Ext port, would it be possible to create a remote to control iris when shooting with electronic still lenses? Something which could be screwed to the handle of a shoulder rig for example… Like the R/S trigger already available on the market but for Iris Open/Close.

I keep hoping Red will get the external ring on Canon's ring adapter working for aperture with Canon EF lenses.
