Hi all,
I was trying to go with the basics and tried to keep the constant f-stop on the zoom lenses I was collecting, but in some situations like shooting action sports and I wished I was able to use the all-in-one zoom lenses although they usually don't come in as constant f-stop.
I realized shooting with Epic in outdoors, we often use ND filters and for shooting actions I tend to close the iris, shooting at F5.6 is normal with action shooting since the subject would be moving fast and I even want even deeper DOF.
So the lens like the Canon 28-300mm F3.5-F5.6, if we can set it so the f-stop at F5.6 through out the entire focal length, it would be so useful. I bought this lens thinking maybe the f-stop stay the same if I keep it at F5.6 but actually no on Epic. Would it possible for RED to have a mode to keep the F-stop if it is allowed?
