iPod dailies

Can anyone recommend the any way to get iPhone ready quicktime files straight out of redrush or red alert?
I tried quicktime h.264 480x270 quarter debayer and itunes said it wasnt compatible with the iphone.

Do you absolutely have to go out of RedAlert or Redrushes? I just converted some proxy files the other day in compressor for my iPod Touch and it worked great!

I would recommend 640x360 actually, and you have to send it out as .mp4 I don't think ipods or iphones will take .mov files.

I'd think the best way to do it would be to drop all the proxies into compressor and do a batch convert, thats what I would have tried first.

i would first make with REDrushes a Quarter Res version (1K) , and from these 1K version, recalculate the ipod versions as needed. So you dont need to calculate the 4k debayer+scaling 2-times . Then you have your offline edit version AND your ipod 'dailies'
Now if only we could get sound out REDrushes...
