This may be a silly question but is there an app for any of the Apple iphone, ipod or ipad products to view footage remotely or to use as a remote for the various camera controls for Scarlet or Epic? I watched the videos for the Canon cinema camera and noticed that they had an app and a wireless transmitter for their system that allowed the AC to control the camera from an iPad. This would be hugely beneficial if you had clients on set that wanted to see video as it was happening and you were not able to set up a cabled monitor.

I would love to see a wireless video streaming app/module someday, that would indeed be handy. I have seen Red demonstrate (at NAB) an app that works on the Ipad that basically does what a Redmote does I believe. I think Jim commented on that when someone asked on Nov. 3, but I can't remember what his responses one but I'm sure it's still in the works.

Teradek does advertise a device that allows you to stream video from camera to an iPad via Wifi. An associate of mine who owns a rental house as played with it and feels it's tweaky and not ready for prime time. This was several months ago so it could have been improved upon by now.

teradek cube does this I believe

Just saw their website, Teradek that is. That actually looks promising. I know that I won't be investing in that at the moment. I was really just curious of the possibilities.
