iPhone 4 Screen just shattered :( Anyone gotten one fixed?

Just curious if there's any advice for a broken iPhone screen. Definitely don't need/want a new phone. I'm in Canada if that changes any thing just curious what peoples experiences are getting a screen fixed.

Yep, I've had 2 or 3 fixed over the years. You don't need Apple, there are thousands of small independents who specialize in fixing them. Just check around online and you will probably come up with a few.

Will probably cost about $25-$100 depending on where you are.

Alternatively, I think Apple will replace it with a new version of the same model for about $200. That's what they do in Australia anyway. If you bring it in for "repair" they usually decide it's easier to replace the whole thing and charge $199.

So it's extremely common (mainly because there are hundreds of millions of iPhones out there, not because they are prone to smashing) and you will have no problem getting it rectified and move on as if it never happened.

Brad, my friend works for one of those mobile phone stalls at the mall, almost all of these places can fix the screen, Iphone 4 is easy because the screen technology is different to the 5. will cost you around $70 and they can usually fix it within 10 minutes.

Easy fix. I would just suggest you get genuine parts as some knock off stuff looks real but just doesn't work the same.
