  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

iPad Apps for RED users - what would you like to see?

A wireless monitor application with integrated follow focus pulling like this would be nice.

I guess that the app like this PLC ES Ltd Wireless Camera Control from iPhone/iPod will continue to work on iPad without any problem...

I also was very impressed with the drylab product at IBC. Never heard back from them after a few emails. Would love to hear more about its development. The ipad will fit very well with their product.

Any new developments in iPad apps for Red?

I'd like to know if it's possible to develop a hardware solution for converting HDMI/Component signals to be ingested via USB to use the iPad as a client monitor.

I'm confident there's no built-in method for video to be input over USB, but couldn't a piece of hardware be engineered to convert a video signal into data that could then be converted in an app for display?

Sounds far fetched, and clearly I'm not a developer... maybe someone more knowledgeable could chime in on this?
