Intuos 4 does not work with Redcine x?

Hello all,

Has anyone else tried moving the dials in Redcine X with the Intuos 4 tablet? When I try to move the dials even a millimeter they go flying off into oblivion and seem to have a mind of their own! I know there was a thread which briefly touched on this before although no answer was given. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this to work or am I just out of luck?

it can be a bit tricky with the colour wheels, but the dials, timeline, etc. are not a problem (Intuos4L, current Wacom drivers, W7). On what platform are you?

I've had this happen to me on a couple of applications ( Waves's audio plugins for example) with a multiple monitor setup.

Did you try moving the app's gui to the monitor with the sytems menue?

I've found that the mouse for the Intuos4 doesn't work at all with any version of Redcine-X, you have to use the pen. The colour wheels are also totally uncontrollable, you have to use the sliders.

I'm on Win7/64.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the help. I didn't even know the sliders were there! I am just moving into the RED workflow coming from an XDCAM, P2, and DSLR workflow, so I am learning as I go on. The dials I think will work for now.

Jochen, how can I move the app's gui to the monitor with the sytems menu?

I am operating a Intuos 4 Small with Mac OS X 10.6.7.
