  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Starting to do a fair amount of compositing with some time laps and sorry if I ask this in kind of a confusing way, but wondering if there is a setting or way to set the camera up when shooting interval frames that you can choose when in the interval you capture those frames.
Say you are shooting a camera speed of 1 fps and you want to shoot say 2 frames every second. Can you set the camera to capture one frame at the beginning of that 1 second and the second frame at the end of the second. Or space them 1/2 second apart .. and if you want to capture say 3 frames in that time can you have them equally spaced in the camera speed that you have set 1/3rd of a second space in between, or are they always just stacked as fast as possible in the first part of the time window??? Or is the camera doing this now and Im just not seeing it. Because it seems to me that they are just rapidly captured at the start of the capture for that camera speed.
Again sorry if this is worded sort of strangely.

Believe it or not english is my first language:smile5:

The multiple frames during one time lapse trigger are captured at the sensor frame rate. That is, if you have the frame rate at 23.98fps and set the time lapse timer to capture 3 frames every second those frames will be captured sequentially at the trigger at 23.98fps, or
one frame every 1/23.98s. If you don't want them bunched up at the beginning of the interval like that change the sensor frame rate.
