Internet fraud with Red Camera's for sale

Don't they have some kind of lojack systems for cameras? something installed by red inside the body would be great. Nothing is more heartbreaking than losing a camera, my first, a dvx was the victim of a smash and grab. It made me want to smash and grab some ones face!

Keep bidding on the fraudulent auction. You can TOTALLY tell its a fraud based on the caption on the bottom where it states buy it now for $2500.00. If you bid on it, not only does it Piss off the fraudulent seller, but the real user of the hacked account takes it down. So go ahead, BID! Don't let these bastards get the best of us!

What is needed is a bonafide camera broker... someone to act as go-between much like Ketch Rossi did in the early Stage 2 days for the Red Ones. I utilized Ketch's services and was very pleased in my dealings with him.

I am high bidder on this Red MX body on Ebay, I am pretty skeptical about this auction, this camera serial # sold a week ago. I suspect that someone is cloning this picture set fraudulently or hopefully is someone hoping to flip it for a modest profit. I know that Red prices are dropping fast, but this is ridiculous and really has me and other Red users very suspicious:

A sure sign that the ad is fishy is the blue text at the bottom. The seller has made sure the text is not text but a jpeg image of the text. Ebay doesn´t allow you to put an email address into your ad, that´s why this guy put his email up as a jpeg, so if ebay searches new ads for email addresses they can´t find it. That in combination with the low price is a sure sign that the seller is not to be trusted.

Whenever something is offered to you for a too good to be true low price, all red flags should go up. Just think about it... why should someone sell something for way less then it´s worth?
