I got a friend from Vancouver, BC who bought a GoPro camera online from a store in the US and he only paid 5% when it arrived.

Nice, double confirmed. 5% is much easier to swallow than %13 on a ~$15Gs, and as Glenn said, you could get it back. Does anyone know how much the actual shipping costs, though? Like does FedEx charge you a mint, or is it like $50 (it's only 5lbs-10lbs, right?)

OH, and does anyone have experience getting batteries? How to handle it, how much it costs, etc.?

for a mattebox, top flag, and 256gb card I paid 238.33 on top of the amount red charged for shipping. This was all GST.

I think for any epic/scarlet own, it seem weird to ship something so expensive by mail, but I guess at the end of the day, it small compaired to what gets shipped on a daily basis. A couple of years ago I was part of something that was by far one of the most un-convetional shipment ever, and in terms of value, you could not put a price on it. 4 of the last 8 Northern White Rhinos left in the world. DHL handled the ground ops, and the group responsible chartered a 747 cargo plane. It was experience. A photo I took
