Instant-on!

I want to be able to go from cold-off, to recording in under 5 sec.

If I could have a camera, capable of doing 2k in a DSLR form factor, that I could keep in my car at all times, this would be beyond amazing. So many times I've seen perfect sunsets, cloud formations, rainbows, etc. and been mostly frustrated that I could capture it right there. Even if I had Red in the trunk, taking the 10-20 minutes to set it up isn't possible. But if this new gadget can do 2k and go instant on, I could get AMAZING stuff.

Or a really deep 'sleep mode.' I'd like that on the Scarlet too.

That would be cool too, but that requires preparation of some sort. I want to go from cold to shooting that fast. My 20D DSLR can go from cold to on in like 2 sec.
