  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Production:
We shot a music video that took place in a very old (1892) Church. Lots of detail! We used a fisher dolly for the entire production. Set up a 6k HMI to shoot through the stained glass. Now little did I know not much happened besides seeing a little spot. The main reason we got this light was because we only had 6 hours and 1 day to complete which meant if the sun didn't shine that day hopefully the 6k did. None the less we got it complete and I'm very happy with the final production :) The Red 18-50 was the main workhorse followed by the Red 300 and the Peleng lens.

Technical Issues:
Ever since I upgraded the RED (v3.2.5) my EVF has white vertical lines. When I reviewed the footage I also noticed a lot of grain. Doesn't seem normal. I thought about reinstalling the latest build but I figure I'd wait and ask. I posted a few tiff stills with only white balance adjusted. I could also post a few clips if needed. Music video coming soon....

The (Technical Issue) post above was inaccurate. The camera had version 3.1.5 installed. After upgrading to the latest version the lines are now gone.

The church is amazing!

There are funky colors in the orange and yellow squares of the macbeth chart in the TIFF I downloaded.

I'm ready to upload the music video but I'm curious to know what's the max MB this server accepts 30, 40?. Anyone know?

The file has been uploaded but from what I'm understanding, Vimeo takes a while to allow the HD version to be shown. So I guess I'm gonna wait and see what happens because right now the quality looks horrible.
