I notice the case that comes with the Oconnor 2575 fluid head has no way of securing the case. I would appreciate if anyone is familiar with these cases and can provide a way to secure the case with a lock for travel.

The cases that come with the Oconnor Tripod legs also cannot be secured. I would appreciate any information enabling me to do so.

Generally the truck or room that they're inside has a lock on it. I've never seen cases with locks on them, in my 5 years assisting. It probably wouldn't be useful anyways, I'm sure it could be broken off.

Most case latches will allow for a zip-tie to be fed through. The zip-tie would then need to be cut off in order to open the case. This is regularly done for shipping.

Thanks Mitch... this option seems good enough to prevent someone from peeking in the case before stealing.

Yes.
A&J, Calzone, and Innerspace latches all have a way to thread a zip-tie through them. If you're traveling by air, the TSA will replace the zip-tie they have cut.
As a side note, when I ordered my 8-hole case for the Superspeeds years ago, I simply used the number on the case at CSC New York. Although the 8-hole cases at CSC did not have a lock, mine showed up with a lock on the front and a pair of keys. I have never used it. Besides, a thief would likely just take the whole case (although the guys who stole my stuff in June took the lenses and left the cases)
Cheers,
Harry
