Click on the 4-way arrow for the Remote Keypad to pop-up.

This directly drives navigation on the RED camera GUI.

Although added in v0.6 - I had not given any details on how to use the Fan Noise tool.

• Added : Fan Noise Analysis subsystem added.

+) Click on Fan icon (Top Right) : Configure parameters in each TEST.
Each test performs a 20%-100% sweep of the fan, recording, averaging and displaying the results.

TEST RUNS : Up to 8 sweeps can be run (which helps reject background sound anomalies)
db READS : Number of times the dB level is read at each FAN % speed. Max is 128.
Fan % Check : 1% (measured) speed tolerance is the default and most accurate.
Ignore Msgs : Ignore the first N readings at a new Fan speed (gives fans a chance to settle at their new speed)

+) Click on status Instrument to the left of the fan - cycles between :
- Status Line (text)
- Status Line + Vu Meters
- Status Line + Vu Meters + Sensor Temp (useful if you are doing 128 'dB Reads')

Results Slots : 12 encircled numbers
When GREY : Result is empty : Click on TEST to perform a Test
When Number is dimmed : Result is hidden from the Graph (click on Result to toggle display)

TEST : Perform a Fan Test. Store in currently selected result.
BASE : Switches to Baseline mode - where results are compared against the currently selected result
INFO : Allow you to rename a Result
DEL : Delete a result (this button changes to 'STOP' during a test)

DRAG AND DROP : To reorganise where you want the results (or to switch them around).

LCD SOFTKEYS

• New GUI accessed by enabling 'Remote Keyboard' and then clicking on 'SOFT KEYS'.
• LCD SoftKeys GUI : A,B,C,D, 1,2,3,4 current Action Mapping displayed.
• Click on SoftKeys to simulate pressing on LCD screen
• Reconfigure (top right) to enter Key Mapping subsystem.

• Clicking on the Reconfigure button takes you into the Key Remapping.
• Reprogrammable Keys are marked up (and colour coded to help locate them)
• In right image, Softkey 4 was selected (current Action 'Save Log').

Key Remapping : Hardware to Reconfigure

• Key Mapping subsystem is (also) accessible from the Tools Page.
• All DSMC1 or DSMC2 hardware components displayed depending on Red Brain connected to.
• Top Level option to reset all keys of all hardware (whether attached or not) back to Reds Default setting.

Key Remapping : Keys to Reconfigure

• Click on an (annotated) key to reconfigure its Action.
• Top right option to reset all keys on this piece of hardware back to Reds Default setting.
