Infrared on RAVEN

Hello RU,

I've got an up coming shoot and the idea of infrared is being thrown about, i've been asked to research if it's possible, but I've got no experience in setting up the Raven to shoot infrared.

but still not sure on the actual set up is, is it even do-able on Raven, is it something that it would have to be a on dedicated modified camera?

Best way would be to have an infared OLPF. But Raven doesn't have swappable OLPF's, so not sure if that's possible.

Raven would need a destructive / one way mod to shoot IR. Not impossible, but a serious job.
For a short term shoot the cost of the modification alone would likely cover a rental of a DSMC2 camera that does have interchangeable OLPFs.

If it's for a specific long term / permanent IR application, then it makes more sense to make the change... PM me

I've got the Full Spectrum OLPF from Kippertie (thanks John!) and it's great on my Epic-W. No swappable OLPF for Raven as noted above.
