INFOTECH Academy: RED102: Did they deliver?

[D Anderson]

Hi

Looking at old threads I see some concerns over the quantity of topics available focusing specifically on Epic/Scarlet training. This was in mid/late 2012.

The idea was they were going to deliver one vid a week. I`m wondering if anyone has used the course recently and did they deliver?
Thanks

Hey D.

Seeing as I run that site, I think I'm good for commenting on it. Did we deliver? Yeah, for a while, but then we found the consistency to be too fast to maintain, so we decided to focus on 4 videos per month. Then we realized that since we were not limited in time, sometimes a video would be 5 min and sometimes 20 min.

About then I started going a little crazy. We've been uploading here and there, and now we're going to re-attack the on screen menus again. There are a LOT of videos on the site, and people do seem to enjoy it. Now however we're starting up again. We did a HUGE thing for how to shoot a music video that we will finish uploading (This killed us, over 3 hours long) and then it's back to simpler EPIC stuff.. I'm also putting some focus into shooting with Drones in the near future.. Mainly cause it's something I am loving right now.

To be blunt, while people like the courses, and seem happy. The site could be better and I do not feel we're reaching our full potential. This is 100% my fault. Nice thing about an on-going site like that, is that I can keep trying to make it better, and I will.

Thanks for the very open response Jay. Thats a shame the quantity was hard to keep up. You seem so relaxed in the videos examples you make it look easy..but I`m sure that's not the case.

Actually it was hard on the people who signed up when we opened.. Now there are a buttload of vidoes on there which is why our current members are quite happy
