We are in a test phase with our RED camera. Getting to know it, so we can use in a optimal way. We are very happy to have this "machine". Right now we are doing sound tests. In 2 weeks we are getting to Greece and we will use RED for a documentary film there. We are too planning some test shots by using some anamorph optics.
We have some question, we would like to ask you or someone tecnical minded at RED.
1.
When we got the camera it was already supplied with a build 16. That was fine and it worked fine when we started the camera.
What about build 15, which is a must to be run, before the build 16. Has it been firmware-installed on our RED? - Where can we see that build 15 is installed?
We are uncertain that the shading program has been run? - Should we run this? - Where can we see if the shading program has been run?
2. We got our camera the 9. th of October 08. It should have the new soundboard installed. But where can we see som documentation of this. Can we see it on screen behind the camera, in the menu's or where?
