Hey Nick.

Thanks! It is my first time shooting on those old Cooke anamorphics and I instantly fell in love with them. I love old vintage glass especially for digital cameras. It takes the sharp digital edge off it. They might just be my favorate lenses right now because of their imperfections.

regards

Justus

Thank you Nick.

always appreciate your comments.

Right back at you. Alyways love your work. We have similar afffinities for older glass, so I always make sure to check in when you post.

Those old Xtell's look GREAT.

Have you seen Ex Machina? They used them there too.

I did see it Nick. Was beautifully shot. Another British film, 'Last passanger' also used them.

might be the same set as I had to bring them in from London Panavision. Apparently only one set floating around between Panavision UK and Panavision South Africa. I love them to death :)

WOW - those excerpts are lovely too. One small set floating around...yikes! Makes one realize how rare, precious and fragile some of this lovely glass is.

So glad you are shooting on them.

Have a blast! And please keep sharing. Love to see more once you've wrapped.

Where is the VIDEO!

I loved your work,
AMAZING.
I loved the way you light the scenes, before I noticed that people are saying anything about the lenses.
you are an artist indeed.

I'm glad someone pointed that out. The lighting looks very professional.

Is that the gaffer or director/dp?
