Crossing the line was a short test of the RED one Camera done by a famous Director Peter Jackson. RED company paid for it. It is used as an advertisement for RED camera.

Knowing was a feature movie with famous movie star Nicolas Cage.

That is why these movies are prominently featured as advertisement for RED camera, to counter the general belief that famous directors and budgeted movies do not touch RED One camera.

3 Vietnamese fature movies have been shot using RED. Those movies were mentioned in posts by the director/producer in these pages. Other than that there was not much enthusiasm about these movies.

i know that, but does it make other feature movies shot on RED classified as 'Off Topic'?

Congratulations and best wishes.Dont waste time on the negative comments from "Wannabes".few years from now, they still will be doing that instead of making movies(Good or bad)

It is not all about the success of the movies shot in RED camera. Of course many of the filmmakers weather it is small or big will come up with the technology once it is popular every where . But the initiative in this field will be always appreciable.

My best wishes to the team REDindia for their welcome effort towards the digital film making in the region.

I would like to proudly associate with India's first feature film "Achchamundu Achchamundu" shot on Red One Digital Cinema Camera.
I would like to share posters and working still of the project. More details about the project will be released soon.

Congratulations. I get the impression your team worked very hard to complete this in the timeframe. Best of luck at the box office.

I said it before and I'll say it again - RED One will be more accepted and adopted as a viable alternative to film in India more than anywhere else in the world. RED should seriously think of setting up a sales and service base in India.

OT: I'm not in India but I'd like to know if ROCK ON has been released and if it's been successful. Thanks

Released. Doing well in multiplexes of big cities. Less so on single screens and B and C centers. Bollywood bo data here:
