Markus camera work is unreal, this guy is up for an amazing career.
anyone know if he studied at the film academy in Ludwigsburg ? Given they collaborated with Emmerich in the past ?

Yes, he studied at the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg. 'HELL' was his first feature, which Roland Emmerich also produced. I've met Markus once at a convention in Munich where he talked a little bit about his camera work on 'HELL'.

I figured, the talent and the productions coming out of that school are just amazing.

Will Smith demanded at least $40,000,000 to reprise his character from the first film and he insisted that his son receive the role of "his son" as well as top billing next to his name on promotional materials and he probably wanted a producer/story credit to boot.
