Like Ginger Rogers, she did everything he did only operating a camera! That's a 10.5 degree of difficulty.

I clapped even though I was all alone. He he he... Thank you for posting this Peter!

From a very quick search: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/08/guillaume-nery-base-jumpi_n_604183.html
Nery emailed us to say he never reached the bottom; the distance is so far as to make it impossible. Nery says, "This movie is an artistic project, a fiction." He shot it with his girlfriend over the course of four afternoons.
Guillaume Nery and myself decided to use our time during a free-diving competition at Dean's Blue Hole (deepest blue hole in the world) to make a short movie. Since a long time Guillaume wanted to make the link between free-diving and base jumping. Our goal was to emphasize on aesthetic images and innovative camera moves.

Apparently Dean's Blue Hole is the world's largest underwater sink hole in the world, bottoming out at 663 feet.

Even though I knew it was impossible to shoot that in one take with one camera I don't think it diminishes the craft of the piece. I was thinking they may have shot it on a rebreather as well. I'd love to see this in 4k.

Beautiful.

I've had the opportunity to swim/snorkel Dean's Blue Hole (Long Island, Bahamas) and it is both immensely beautiful and terrifying. Water turns from crystal clear blue to pitch black in a matter of twenty feet or so, and when you swim over it the water temp drops very noticeably. Creepy.

Awesome free diver.

This is really amazing footage. It makes me want to grab a camera, go outside, and just film!
