Incorrect Shipping Info

I purchased a v-lock expander back in early Feb. On the site at the time of purchase it said would ship in 7-10 days. Everything has shipped except the expander which is now on backorder I guess. I'm a little frustrated that it was not communicated to me beforehand that this item was unavailable.

Looking around on the forums I found another person who ordered one back in January and is still getting the run around from RED about shipping times. Anyone know what's going on with these v-lock expanders specifically? When will they actually be shipped? Also, don't you think the website should reflect the current state of the product instead of deceiving with a faster ship time only to disappoint?

Update on this one, I checked in again at the end of my 7-10 day window they initially gave me. Got another 7-10 day response. Decided to just buy a v-lock expander without all the bells and whistles in the meantime while I wait forever for this one to ship. Then I'll sell it or something after if finally ships. #sigh
