  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Improper Shutdown seems to have hosed my Raven

Was getting ready for a road trip, rigging the raven on our drone. I shut down to change batteries and apparently pulled the plug too soon. When I booted up I got the "Improper shutdown" screen and could not make it go away as I don't have the touch screen. I had to hold the Pwr/Rec button to force a shutdown. When I restarted, I didn't get the same message, but now the entire system is hugely lagging. Scrolling through the menus is all but unresponsive as the time between wheel motion and menu motion is so slow. And when I try to shutdown it takes about 2.5 MINUTES to do so.

Any idea how to get back to normal?
 
Have you tried hard resetting the camera? From power off state, press and hold the power button for 30-60 seconds or until the fan blasts, it will reset the camera to factory settings (all presets/user data will be gone).. If it still persist maybe try reinstalling the firmware.
 
Will try that now. Was just looking up "Reset Defaults" vs "Wipe Camera". I'll try your method first. DANG!
