Impressive black shade speed!

For example. Black shading for 1/96 and then shooting 1/48 the E+ shows for exposure but the noise is drastically reduced. Is it just me or is this a normal thing to happen?

Can you provide some real world examples of this?

Yeah, that seems psychosomatic or placebo effect... Like you hope for it to be true so bad that objectivity goes out the window (also it wouldn't be easy to test either -- maybe shoot a controlled scene and thn reshoot after faster shutter Bs?)

No the blue noise and red noise @ 12,800 ISO dances around nicely. Shaded properly for 1/96 @ 1/96, then when I switch to 1/48 shutter the E+ shows yellow. The noise is reduced drastically and turns silver/dark grey and is almost unnoticeable.
