  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Import a look preset from RCX to the camera with Beta 3.2.8

i draged and droped my rmd files in the preset folder of the ssd card as i used to do with the older firmware but now it doesnt appear in the camera presets

I have the following problem with the looks. I apply a look which I copied from the SSD and I can see the look on my monitor. Great! But when I record a shot while the look is active it doesn't show in RCX-PRO. Am I doing something wrong?

What exactly doesn't show in RCX? When you apply the look in camera it simply modifies the appropriate meta data items (which are then recorded with the clip). Can you tell what meta data items aren't set correctly when you look at the clip in RCX?

Trent, I only altered the curves to test. On import they show the default values.
This is my workflow:
1) Alter the curves in RCX 14
2) Export the look for EPIC to SSD in looks folder
3) Copy the look to my Epic
4) Test on camera is ok, curves are altered
5) Record some clips
6) Open clips in RCX 14
Result: curves have default value
