IMPERO Controller wanted

For what it’s worth. I recently required an ancient Birger EF mount for Canon lenses for my Red One. And I must say it has been a very uplifting experience. After reading a ton of old conversations on this forum I did succeed to master it. By combining the 3 control buttons on the side of it I can control it easily with the interface on the mount, the iris, IS and focus etc. It was also straight forward to hook up my MacBook’s Bluetooth connection to control everything from the Birger BEI Device Interface App. It even displays everything from the lens (S4/i) on the LCD screen perfect, Focus Distance, Aperture and ZOOM/Lens mm. Perfect!

To assemble the mount and attach it to the R1 was quite easy. To collimate the lenses was straight forward too. Now I can use all my Canon EF Lenses on my R1. Brilliant


Now, if someone has an IMPERO device to spare I couldn’t be more happy?

I used to have one, but when we moved to the Komodos, we no longer needed it. But I will say, it was a marvelous combination. Good luck in your quest!
