Hi All,

I am not sure how I got to this point, but the Image: Output Transform tab/pane options, "Output Tone Map" and "Highlight Roll-Off" are no longer having any effect on any of my Helium (any and all resolutions, frame rates, etc.) footage.

I am on 50.2, but I've tried deleting preferences, rolling back to ver 50.1.. even re-installing the Apple Workflow Installer and still, nothing works. It's like the file path/directory from the app to those 'files' is broken and not able to be reestablished?

I do have the actual cubes (v1_13) downloaded, so I could still apply in FCPX via Custom LUT effect>cubes, but I really prefer to use the Image: Output Transform Pane in RCX, to shop or apply these changes.

I have submitted this issue to Red via support, but was curious if anyone else has had this happen? (FWIW, this is on an iMacPro High Sierra ver 10.13.3)

Thanks in Advance,
Dustin

Ok, well I don't necessarily remember it working this way, but it would seem I've solved my own issue-

For "Show Advanced Controls" to update in Preferences, you have to close the prefs window, but- it looks like the Output Transform options only affect clips in the RCX viewer when 'non-log based gamma curve choices' are selected for "monitoring IPP2" settings in preferences- hence the Advanced Settings option. ;)

I must've forgotten I was working in RWG/3G10 (IPP2 Monitoring setting, then correcting the still previews from there) last project and sticking only with the default in-camera Transforms, hence not seeing/recognizing that relationship, until now when I needed to change them (the Transform options). As long as I choose any gamma curve monitoring that isn't log based in the IPP2 monitoring dropdown for gamma, then its fine again, i.e. HDR-2084, BT1886, etc.

Losing my marbles. LOL. But that pane is now working again.

Cheers,
Dusty
