This is the base model UHL-43, so no 4k output license. It functions the same, provided you have the appropriate device that can pass that flag for HDR color space. Performs very well in low light. Last time I called the Ikegami sales office for the MSRP was before tariffs were implemented.
Upgrade to quad 3G 4k was quoted $2,060 & the upgrade to 12g fiber was $3,000.

This camera is ideal for people who want to shoot a beautiful, 1920x1080 @ 59.96fps HDR image, right out of the camera. Ikegami is the gold standard in live broadcasting miniaturization. This camera is ideal for robotic crane owners, and storytellers that don’t want to be limited by a heavy camera, preferring handheld over a studio camera setup. Weighing in at just 5lbs 12oz, operators used to handling an Arri Alexa Mini (11oz lighter) will find the UHL-43 familiar and easy to operate for long periods of time. There are internal ND filters and color correction filters. This compact camera is also great for teleprompters, allowing for easy balancing on any tripod head. Ikegami’s Hybrid-Log gamma “HLG” & “BLKPRES” shadow preservation technology are also available in this base model, which unlocks the freedom to shoot anywhere from high contrast sun to low-light environments, with the image still holding up at the highest gain setting. The UHL-43’s dynamic range and HDR capabilities make it desirable for high-end productions. Trucks that already have Ikegami OCP-200 will find this easy to implement with the help of a BSH-300 protocol adapter for Ethernet camera control.

The new and improved UI system for the UHL-43 allows users a more accessible experience on the operator’s side of the camera, whereas previous designs had the controls on the back. 4 user programmable buttons allow for easy control of the camera settings, no need for a CCU. Long-pressing the rotary encoder dial reveals the quick menu. Holding “char” and pressing down on the rotary encoder reveals the “top menu”.
Easily adjust all the same settings you can with a control panel in the “Video adjustment” submenu. Shutter is able to be fine-tuned.

Note: Included monitor’s maximum res is 1080i59, so try to avoid accidentally changing that. The included monitor is super sharp, and the SDI out and monitor out have independent output settings (raster size, color space, A/B level), like other high-end cameras. This camera is best used at its max res of 1080p60 (max SDI run length 300’), but if you are hoping to run long lengths of SDI, this camera package is perfect for you too. If you wish to run long lengths of SDI, change the SDI out of the camera to 1080p30 or 1080i59, and use the included SDI repeater and power supply solutions (AC adapter or d tap cable to 4pin XLR) to send your signal up to 500’! This camera is super reliable and will produce a elegant, sharp image that draws in your viewers.
