have Fusion reactor hidden away to test engineering samples.

I mean Jim always talks about having a nuclear reactor in box.

: - )

Love the name of Kodaks nuclear reactor:

"californium neutron flux multiplier (CFX)"

And if RED had one of these, I could imagine it looking like a cross between this:

Like one poster said, "the real question is... can I put it in my Delorean?"

Oakleys have long been known for their thermonuclear protection properties.

And to quote Steve Martin, "A day without sunshine is......night."

Niels Bohr, the Nobel danish physicist and author of one of the most famous quotes («the opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false, the opposite of a great truth is also true») who with Albert Einstein more contributed for the nuclear technology, passed the rest of his life until the date of his death in 1962, fearing for it. He was so committed with, that Churchill after having met him, started to see the scientist but as a threat for the West's strategic interests... discussing the matter with Roosevelt after the meeting.

But he was not the only one... to add something on the subject matter.
Heisenberg? (author of the uncertainty principle)
Robert Oppenheimer (Los Alamos chairman) quoted the Bhagavad Gita (sacred book hindu aka God's song): «I am become Death, the Destroyer of worlds»
Someone quoted Kenneth Bainbridge (director of Trinity nuclear experience) minutes after the 1st test ever: «Now we are all sons of bitches!»

nuclear, specifically reactors have peaceful applications

PROS

* Lower carbon dioxide (and other greenhouse gases) released into theatmosphere in power generation. HUGE

CONS

If you build one in an earthquake zone, Tsunamis can mess them up :(

Sure they could have. The point is the man, full of interests everywhere and anytime -- at any rate at times :( is in the middle of the equation, messing up the premises. Sometimes, more than the most severe of tsunamis of mother nature.

The Exclusion Zone
Main article: Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

« Even today, radiation levels are so high that the workers responsible for rebuilding the sarcophogus are only allowed to work five hours a day for one month before taking 15 days of rest. Ukrainian officials estimate the area will not be safe for human life again for another 20,000 years. »

@emanuel
yes, nuclear is the glamor boy of human destruction . . . but it will be nano technology that will take us out for good. like war of the worlds - it's the little things that can really fuck up your existence

Obviously you guys didn't learn anything from Ironman ^^ .....COLD FUSION is the future !!!!!!

I bet Jim has one of those already...fully functional.

wonder how the dragon sensor would perform powered by one of those....can this be a future Epic hardware update please ?? saves us lugging around red bricks ^^
