I have several IDX Endura 10s and Endura 7s V mount batteries. Does anyone know if these will work with a Scarlet. I've had them for a couple of years and used them on a Sony camera. If they will work I'm confused about which V mount plate I would need to get. Are all V mount plates compatible?

Thanks,
Tony

Hey Tony,

We have tons of 7s and 10s as well. I met with Kathy at IDX here in LA and they recommend the 9HLs...it's the High Load bricks. The 10s will work, but won't last as long. The Scarlet pulls about 30w+ which will require HLs...The 7s' are too weak.
The plates we've researched are as follows. we've spoke both to Ryan at Wooden Cam and Josh @ View Factor. We opted for VF just cause they're here near us.

View Factor

Kathy at IDX works with VF, and are familiar with their MOD'd plates. Either way both are solid options. You can SEARCH the forums for either one and users seemed very happy.

Hope this helps.
