wanted to see if anyone has simple solution for this....i guess the outrigger handle would work...i use my epic handheld a lot and don't like any extra weight, so the lighter the better...any ideas?

1/4-20 screw on cold shoe plus an Azden SMH-1 shock mount might get it done for you. Did that as something cheap and cheerful for running around an event doing candid interviews with that holding an MKH-60.

I use an israeli arm when mounting microphone - you can mount it many ways specially if you have a top mount.

i have the clamp for the microphone that came with it, seems to be ok...i was looking for ideas on how/where to mount the cold shoe on the camera....or a little off the camera to cut down on fan noise problems (as much as possible)...

i guess i would like some kind of arm that holds the mike but i would prefer that arm to be clipped on to the camera somehow......nothing fixed, i don't want a cage or top plate for the camera, so i am looking for a solution to connect the arm to the camera...as light as possible and easy to take off and put on....hope that makes sense....
