Ideas for a Plastic Surgery Office Video

[Scott Lamoreaux]

Hey guys,

A friend of mine's dad is a Plastic Surgeon in San Diego, and has hired me to re-do their sizzle video. No talking heads or anything special just a loungy track and lifestyle shots in addition to the office.

Any ideas of something "unique" I could add to make this pop out a little more?

The budget is so low on this that it doesn't allow for any crazy equipment, lighting or even an assistant.

Any help or inspiration videos would be great!

I did quite a bit of this way back in the day for one of the doctors of Extreme Makeover. Lots of training/promo videos.

For your case, you may want to get audio snippets of previous customers who are happy with their result and possibly some lifestyle footage of them in their everyday lives, how the procedure has changed them, etc. Hear from various people so it diversifies the client base. Each mini vignette is short, but encompassed in the main promo. You could even have longer vignettes that go more into depth on each person at a later date..almost like a series rollout so it keeps people engaged on his site, Facebook, etc.

You could also take an entirely different approach on going high-techy...where you show surgeries and the office, portraying a high end medical/safety feel. Maybe VO driven?

I personally think hearing from previous clients is more meaningful. Best of luck and share it once it's done!!

Thanks Chris -- All my cool ideas got shot down basically. They just wanted boring shots of the office and the surrounding town. I wanted to shoot a surgery case, botox injections, hot girls walking out of a range rover but nope. Nothing =( Oh we'll got paid...
