Hmm. No disrespect to you Frank. I love new ideas and thinking differently. However, if the active presence of the RED team is not enough for people to join this forum, I dont see how giving out 50 random users the cut in line would benefit anyone except for current REDusers.

I'm sure a large majority of people who currently don't care about REDuser will not be very enthusiastic about special opportunity. If the ones who are already on REDuser happen to benefit from this, it doesn't quite make sense because they realize the early adopters went through many growing pains (to be honest, a small number of people still are).

As one who has no way of getting "in" ahead of others, I'm happy that I will get to see the early adopters receive this amazing treatment. It says a lot to me about the company and how well they make good for everyone in the long run.

From their track record, I see them committed to their first 7,000 customers much more than adding 7,000 brand new REDuser members.

Looking at it this way, what do you think you'd do?

You may be right. I think I was just responding to all of the activity about who is getting their cameras and when, and who deserves to be first, next or whatever. As a ploy to jump the line, this qualifies.
