Idea for future accessory

I was just looking over the REDmote Pro and it looks like a great piece of kit... it got me thinking of an accessory I would love to see.

A remote follow focus combined into a 5" display that worked wirelesly, allowing the operator or focus puller to work away from the camera and have a monitor to reference. This would be great for shots on dollys, cranes etc.

I'm sure there are systems like this in Hollywood etc... but for 1 man gigs that I often do, it would be a dream.

I guess it is alot of data to send over wireless, without any delay... but further down the line, it could be possible?

hmmm I can't recall the frequency the Redmote is operating, but if its in the 5GHz range, there should be bandwith enough ..... just my 2c

I like this idea too and the solution may be easy!

With the coming of the wireless streaming module that will send signals to iphone/ipads on set, perhaps you could just pair the Redmote Pro with one.
