Hello!
Up for sale I have:
IBE Optics' excellent HDx35 Mark I B4 to PL optical adapter. 2.5x magnification (11mm x 2.5 = 27.5mm image circle, although some primes will cover up to 29mm-30mm). The biggest difference between this and the Mark II, is that the latter has a 2.6x magnification for additional coverage, as well as a replaceable mount system. Will come with a Abelcine Anton Bauer D-tap adapter. Like new.
Red (rebranded Abakus 132) B4 to PL mount optical adapter. 1.32x magnification (11mm x 1.32 = 14.52 image circle, although some primes will cover up to about 16mm). Designed for Super 16, but looks great on crop mode (or on the Blackmagic Pocket.) Will come with a custom Anton Bauer D-tap adapter. Cosmetically it has some wear, but the mechanics and optics are great (no scratches, haze, or fungus - just a few particles of dust which wouldn't effect the image.)
Fujinon A15x8 f1.7 lens which comes in at 8-120mm (or 30-450mm range in Full Frame terms). Technically an SD lens, the version I have was the last one they made (the Z-Lever Holder gives it away), which doesn't come up very often, and has the latest coatings of the time (well after "HD" lenses were introduced.) Tested on my $1500 DSC Labs test chart, it easily resolves 4K worth of resolution. Combined with the Abakus 132, it's way sharper than the much beloved Canon 8-64 Super 16 lens, for instance (although this lens does breathe more.)
The Fujinon lens comes with a 2x doubler and also has a macro mode where you can focus right on up to the front element of the lens. The lens is f1.7 from 8-100mm and ramps up to f2.1 from 100-120mm.
The Fujinon lens is fantastically light, is super sharp, and has low chromatic aberration. A lot of the later "HD" lenses had fairly bad chromatic errors and this one was known for being better optically in that area. Mechanically it works great. Optically the rear element is perfect and the front element has some scratches which don't show in the image (checked on the charts, for flaring, etc.) No haze or fungus. Comes with rear cap, front shade with cap, zoom lever.
I'll also include a Tinsley / Century Double Asphere Wide Angle adapter with the Fujinon lens. This is very likely the best wide angle adapter ever made and turns the lens into a 4.8mm (18mm in Full Frame) prime. You may know Tinsley as the company that designed the optics to fix the Hubble Telescope. Still 4K sharp with the adapter, it just introduces a small amount of barrel distortion and field curvature. However, it doesn't increase the f stop at all. Optically there are some scratches which don't show in the image (checked on the charts, for flaring, etc.) as well as a minor chip in the extreme corner and far outside of the field of view, AKA no effect on image performance at all. No haze or fungus.
Prices for everything would be:
$2,500 for the HDx35 Mark I B4 to PL
$1,250 for the Red / Abakus 132 B4 to PL
$750 for the Fujinon lens with the Tinsley Double Asphere
Thanks!
