I was (almost completely) right! What did I win?

On November 5th at 8:52pm, I posted:

"...perhaps SCARLET, EPIC, and the DSMC are all one project, with disparate modular parts and price points that you can add on according to budget."

BINGO! This has been my suspicion for a while now.

Modules would include:
-Lens module - mount of your choice or all in one lens for Scarlet
-Sensor module - 3K to ?K - what can you afford?
-Image processing module - compressed RAW, uncompressed, HD, SD, RGB, Quicktime, whatever.
-Recording module - CF, hard drive, flash, firewire, streaming
-Output module - how many outputs do you want? different data on different outs? Resolution?
-Viewing module - EVF, LCD, Optical, retinal implants?
-Control module - full manual, idiot-proof auto, external computer controls, hacker's open-source version. Wireless, wired, bluetooth, infrared, thought-controlled. Touchscreen, iPhone, timelapse, motion sensing, etc.

So... Pretty darn close huh?

Jim, it seems that you and I think alike. Any chance of a job at RedHQ, or perhaps at Red Canada?!?

If not I'd settle for a camera!
