  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I want to buy a USED REDONE Serial #25-125 only please.

Ill sell #103 for a $250,000 USD Premium plus the cost of the body.

MY PRICE IS $267,500 . FIRM.

Looks like low serial numbers aren't worth any kind of premium since the cutoff date has already passed.

Unless you sell the camera without transfer of ownership. Then, when it comes time for the Epic stages, you do the upgrade through the original owner.

Damn, I was going to ask $275 000 USD, you beat me to it.

Low serial numbers may still be worth a premium for someone who absolutely wants to shoot with Epic as soon as it's available...

Only if you have the original owner do all the steps to do the upgrade without transfer of ownership.

It would probably take just as long to transfer ownership as it would to get a brand new Red One delivered. AFIK, the date of transfer and the date of delivery (invoice) is your place in line ever since the cutoff date.

Hey Martin, how much for #91? - Go as low as 40% of Tim's offer? (#97 to old to even bother with)

Got a hand on Red #97 last year, be carefull about what you're saying... :-)

er.. uh.. Old in a good way..kinda like a Grandmother or a favorite "Vintage" Smoking Chair :-D

Sorry, but those would be 52.5%. At 40% I can only offer 397 or 371.

And to all those who sent a PM asking if I would paint over 3 digits, I have to say no. I feel that would be like cheating. Plus, I don't want to ruin any standing that I might or might not have with Jim.

RED One #1110 can be bought for $117,500. :) Compared to the prices mentioned above, it's a steal!

You guys are like kids, The Epic camera is an Asic module which means they can manufacture 7000 in 2 months as long as its ready for production, as opposed to the Red one which would take significantly longer to even begin to build.

huh? I've heard it will take over 2 years to fullfill all the orders.

Jeremy,

If I may ask, Where are you getting all your Info!?!

First you have info that, Epic Deposits have been taken, when thats false... all thats been done is that those who have RED Ones, or have transferred ownership before OCT 30th, will get in line for the EPIC-X camera...

And this Shlop about 2 years to fulfill orders... NO Orders have been taken!

I know the orders haven't been taken. It was an estimate I was given. As I said before, I was told by Travis at Red that I must place a deposit for the Epic by Oct 29th. Regardless, I took it as this was a deposit from owners of used Red cameras. Nothing to worry about for original owners. Obviously if no one else knows about it, then someone's wrong and it might be me. I'll call in the morning and repost.

with this kind of response and all the BS you are spewing.

I bet it DOES take 2 years for you to get your EPIC from RED :troll:

Let's not get all worked up over a camera.

Let's not get all worked up over a camera.

Have you ever heard of any one saying that about their tool of trade?

Lol

"If you continue to do the same thing, you will get the same result guaranteed" -Unknown-

You can bet on this.

Good luck with what ever "Camera" you are holding in your hands.
