I need help with lut and redcine. thanks.

I'm working with a DP that I haven't worked with tomorrow night. He wants me to shoot some footage and load it into to red Cine and then save the lut to a card, then loading it into the camera. This is going to be my first job as a red tech with build 18. Any help on how to do this would be very helpful.

He also sent me these settings.

180deg_change if need more light
strobes_turn off shutter_360deg
redspace_colorspace
3200K

COLOR NOTES_b&w lut and color lut
COLOR:desat -.8, contrast +1

You are unable to save looks from the Red apps and then load them via a card to the camera - at least, not yet.

What you can do is save them from the camera to a card and bring them to another camera or manually enter the look using settings you have created in the RED apps and save that to a card from the camera.

In future builds you will have the ability to use the Apps to do this.

I would create your 2 luts in camera and save them to the card so you can switch easily.

anyway do not set the camera to 3200ºK. allways shoot 5000º and balance later in redcine, redalert...
